Me and my fiancée had such a great day making our wedding rings, one I'm sure we will remember fondly decades from now. Ghazel was an exceptional coach, who clearly knows her craft very well. She was patient, encouraging and just really accomodating to our lack of experience with anything like this. I'd be sure to recommend this workshop to any couple who are keen to have the significance of their wedding rings tied to a pleasant memory.
My partner and I were given a ring making workshop with Soremi Contemporary Jewellery as an early wedding present, and it was a day we will never forget. Our host, and goldsmith guru, Ghazal was warm, welcoming and instantly put us at ease. Her studio became our home for the day and with our own soundtrack playing away, the initially daunting task of each having to make a ring that the other will wear for a life time, eased into a fun and interesting challenge that we didn't want to end!
Ghazal was so knowledgeable and gave instructions that were incredibly easy to follow. And when we had wobbles through the day that we wouldn't be able to do it, she was our biggest cheerleader and made us believe that we could...
And we did! The end results are absolutely beautiful and something we will both be proud to wear.

The experience was bought for us as a gift but we wouldn’t hesitate to do another session on our own again or buy it as a gift experience for someone else.. The atmosphere was perfect- fun, relaxed & informative. We left with rings we absolutely love and memories to match. Thank you so much!!x
Ghazal is a brilliant teacher and she took us through all the processes of ring making to produce something personal and so professionally finished that people don't believe I made them.
I learnt how to stamp a message in one of my rings and how to measure, file, weld then shape them. Then add different patterned finishes on two of them before polishing and ensuring they were the perfect fit. Ghazal teaches, encourages and helps you produce something you'd happily have bought and refuses to allow anyone to be left out or leave with anything less then perfect.
Amazing group of ladies shared the day with me and a few tears where shed as some of us added words to our rings to inspire and encourage and motivate us. My rings haven't come of yet and probably won't ever, just wish I lived closer as would do the whole thing again in a heartbeat. (Plus can't forget to mention that Justin makes an amazing coffee and the studio is gorgeous) 😍😍😍😍
Our entire experience was magical, fun and full of laughter.
Ghazal makes you feel so at ease from the moment you walk into the shedio and her knowledge of the process of jewellery making is incomparable.
We started with strips of silver that by the end of the day were perfectly fitting wedding rings.
At no point in the day did we feel silly or stupid if we couldn't do something, every step of the journey was thoroughly explained and we just had the best day.
When we exchange rings on our big day we'll be thinking all about the experience we had.
Also must give Justin a big shout out for the coffee, biscuits and fab sandwiches.

I cannot express enough how brilliant this day was for me and my fiancé. It was just us and the lovely Ghazal. We could play our own music, Ghazal made sure we did every single step ourselves and helped us perfectly through the whole process. The day felt so intimate and special, something we will remember for the rest of our lives and to top it off, the rings came out perfectly! And so unique to us. I had the pleasure of attending one of Ghazals ring stacking workshops and WOW did this experience exceeded my expectations in every aspect. As a first timer I didn’t have high hopes I would be leaving with rings that look like they could be sold in a jewellers (as promised by Ghazal herself) but she was right! The quality of each piece is to the highest standards which I truly appreciated.
I was guided every step of the way and Ghazal make it so clear what each step would include and shared her plethora of knowledge to make it as easy as possible. She didn’t do any of the making for us so knowing it was genuinely hand made by myself from start to finish makes it all the more special.

I used a Virgin Experience Days voucher to book onto the stacking rings workshop. I went on my own but was joined by a lovely group of people in the studio. Ghazal is the perfect teacher; she’ll give you a helping hand where needed but otherwise it’s up to you. I thought there would be aspects of making the rings that I wouldn’t be allowed/able to do but she really does guide you through the whole process from start to finish. The atmosphere in the workshop was wonderful too, Ghazal is really supportive of everyone – and has a great sense of humour! Thank you so much for an amazing experience.
Ghazal made us feel so comfortable with every step of the process. You don't feel rushed either. If we are to make anything similar again we will definitely be back or recommend to anyone.
