Sophie Honeybourne

My jewellery is very influenced by my natural surroundings. I feel lucky to live on the Isle of Wight, enjoying woodland, farmland and stunning coastal and beach walks. Whilst completing my Masters at the Royal College of Art, I drew from my lifestyle back at home; beach fires, lazy days sunbathing and swimming in the sea. Weekend trips back to the Island were few and far between but during these trips the seasonal changes of the land became more vibrant for me as I had not had time to absorb their changes.

My work reflects my passion for multiples found within nature, seasonal colours and organic shapes. I mainly work in sterling silver, fine silver adding detail using seed pearls, 18ct gold and enamel.
