Jewellery designer, John Moore, graduated in 2002 from Manchester Metropolitan University with a first class honours degree in Three Dimensional Design. His distinctive work has featured in prestigious exhibitions such as Dazzle, Ruthin Craft Centre, Yorkshire Sculpture Park and The Scottish Gallery and he made his London debut at Origin 2006.
Inspired by ancient artefacts and forms in nature, his latest work continues to evolve from ideas conceived during his studies. Using anodised aluminium and silver John explores the colour and repetition of a shape based on beetle wings to create bold, organic forms. Movement, noise and a sophisticated palette stimulate the senses and beg the wearer to play.
